Bill Gibeault
Chief Experience Officer (CXO)

Bill is Co-founder and Chief Experience Producer (CEP) for Story Mavericks, a 25-year old video production and customer experience design firm based in Saratoga Springs, NY . Bill’s career in business spans three decades and crosses three industries. The driving force throughout his professional career and personally , has been making a difference by turning the ordinary into extraordinary .

In 1997 Bill left the corporate world to devote full time energy to a video production company he co-founded in 1987, Sunrise Media. He discovered the emerging “Experience Economy” in 2004 during a company initiative to reposition itself strategically . Defining the real work of a video production enterprise as one which created “Experiences” , led directly (A Google Search) to “The Experience Economy & Pine & Gilmore.

In October 2006, Bill became one of the first group of ten people in the Nation to be certified in the theories and models of The Experience Economy, through formal training, from the internationally recognized leaders in the field, Joe Pine and Jim Gilmore. Their best selling book, “The Experience Economy. He has devoted the last 7 years to intensive study, research and application of experience design principles to business. Included in this journey is the important role of storytelling & business narrative, Social Media and marketing. Bill’s thought leadership on business communication and experiences have been reflected for the past two years on his “RockYour Customers” Blog.

He has taken his 20 years of media production and business management expertise and combined the latest thinking about experience staging to design an industry first methodology, for creating corporate communications, based on experiences and authenticity.
Since founding his video production company in 1987, he has written and produced a variety of stories including biographies, documentaries, corporate training and marketing, websites, special events and meetings.

Bill also has 15 years of corporate sales management experience with National Food Manufacturers Hunt Wesson Foods and ConAgra Inc. He brings a real world perspective of the business environment having been responsible for training, recruiting, marketing and sales. He has an undergraduate degree in history and a Masters Degree in Guidance & Counseling, from Central Connecticut State University.

Bill resides in Saratoga Springs, New York a community he supports both personally and professionally with volunteer efforts and digital storytelling. He has been a member of The Saratoga Springs Lions Club for over ten years and one of its board members for nine . He is also a graduate of Leadership Saratoga, a nine-month leadership program to develop community leaders.

 

Linda Gibeault
Co-Founder/Chief Relationship Officer

Linda Gibeault’s extensive experiences in sales with both National Organizations and as a business owner prepared her well in her role of Chief Relationships and Development Officer. She brings an intimate understanding in identifying emotional needs of customers and a superior ability to exceed customer expectations through a commitment and priority to developing learning relationships with them.

Linda also adds extensive Leadership Skills to her position with Story Mavericks. She has held various executive and board leadership positions for Rotary, Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, YMCA, Leadership Saratoga, and Community Partners in Education. She was served on the founding committee who developed the inaugural First Night Saratoga Springs still one of the most successful programs of its kind Nationally. Most notable in her many community service and Leadership awards are being named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International and receiving the Leadership Saratoga Distinguished Alumni Award.

Rich Northrup
Director Technology/Experience Producer/Experience Stager

Rich in his role as director of technology delivers a commitment to find and use the most effective digital tools to transform business communications beyond a communiqué’ into a compelling story.

Rich has over 25 years experience in video production including tenure with National Networks. He is highly skilled in all areas of video production and graphics and is a certified instructor for animation and video editing. His technical expertise and understanding also extends to most areas of interactive media including web technology, streaming media and CD/DVD design and programming.

As an experience producer for Story Mavericks Rich brings an extensive portfolio of capabilities and skills in the areas of event planning, producing and directing and as an accomplished entertainer. He has toured the Country from coast to coast singing on the stages of Atlantic City, Caesars Palace and Opryland. Rich has also worked with many of the music industry legends including: Fats Domino, Charlie Prose and John Dalpe .(produced Steve Allen)

Steve Dragoo
Director of Training/Experience Producer & Consultant

 

Steve Dragoo. Is President of Solutions Consulting, Inc. a training and experience design firm founded in 2004. His focus is on creating and staging dynamic and memorable experiences to meet business challenges.

Steve has worked with a number of major retail organizations and consumer product companies during his three-decade career. He spent more than twenty years with Sara Lee Corporation and ConAgra Foods. During much of this time, he was responsible for leading the training and development functions within these organizations. In these roles, he developed food related and customer oriented training materials and facilitated training sessions throughout the U .S. and a number of countries around the world for more than 35,000 participants.

At Solutions Consulting, he has created a portfolio of effective customer-focused training programs for executives, management, and front-line service employees. Several leading retail organizations and many of their manufacturing partners have benefited from his consulting and training offerings.

Steve is a Nationally Certified Experience Economy Expert and also the recipient of the Experience Manager of The Y ear Award, recognizing individual accomplishment in creating new to the world experience offerings and approaches. This award is given annually by Pine & Gilmore.
